In The Deep

A day out to Hull with Eben and Luca, at Eben's request. He wanted a return visit to The Deep, Hull's aquarium and all-round visitor attraction. We were happy enough to do this, as the place is interesting and promotes environmental awareness. We've enjoyed previous visits.
The image is a real emergency blip, a grainy phone-grab.  Keeping track of two energetic boys moving at different paces, in the dimly lit and crowded spaces, was a challenge and my camera stayed in its bag for the duration.
I'd say it wasn't the best visit ever... the boys scrapped quite a bit in the car on the way over. On the way back we avoided that, partly by supplying some new books to leaf through, from the shop, and partly by playing a game where we took turns to choose songs to play on the car audio. Eben started with Metallica's "Sad but True", a number he's learned with his drum tutor. Luca went for the Stick song from Hey Duggee. Richard opted for Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile, specifying the full 14 minute version (he did concede after about 8 minutes).  Here's one of mine, wishing Kamala Harris and the Democrats well:
