Looks like glass

Lots of chores done this morning and also a chat with our local tree surgeon, who I've known since he was two.  He's going to put in an application to have our lime tree and the two over the back reduced by 50%, which we probably won't get,  However, we should be allowed to thin them out, which is usually done every five years or so.

Lunch at the golf club with our friends, celebrating one of our birthdays.  It was pleasant being able to sit outside, even though the wind was a tad chilly.
