Purple Flowers

It's been a bit of a dull day but I've had loads to do following last night's photo club meeting. I went out for a blip late afternoon and it was good to see so many flowers at the purple end of the spectrum. I noted thistles, fireweed (rosebay willowherb) and of course the heather. It would have been good to get them all in the same photo but it doesn't seem to happen.

My blip is looking from Little Haldon across towards Bovey Tracey and Dartmoor.
