Wet morning

It rained in the early hours.  It was still warm on our morning walk.

I had to feed a neighbour's cats today and give one medication.  Only one cat, Doctor appeared but Professor wasn't around and he needed the medication.  An hour later I returned and gave the Proff his medicine. 

Had dental check up late morning.  All fine except I'm brushing too hard and will need a white filling at the BBC base of a couple of teeth where the enamel is thin to protect them.

My dentist has an antipathy towards manual toothbrushes.  Every appointment she says: You use a manual toothbrush.'. Today she blamed the use of manual toothbrushes for eroding tooth enamel.  

My rationale is having already had two electric toothbrushes which cannot be recycled I wanted to prevent the planet being littered.  

But I've seen and heard a radio programme on the Suri electric toothbrush.  The brush heads can be recycled and the handle is aluminium not plastic and the batteries can be replaced.  I'll head to Boots tomorrow to see if they have one.

We were able to have an afternoon walk as it wasn't too hot and there were patches of shade.

Salads for dinner.  Finished the peperonata and spinach frittata.  Made a potato salad with capers, chopped mint and parsley, olive oil lemon juice.

I think I have the last episode  of The Turkish Detective to watch.
