Harbour 5K

On Tuesday the 16th it was the Whitehaven Harbour 5k,  the race goes around the harbour and up past the Candlestick onto the coast path and back down.
The winner completed in the incredible time of 17:09 considering the ascent and the mixed terrain.
It was a quite an anniversary for me, at this race last year I attempted to walk up to spectate by the candlestick, I didn't see any of the race as I was in an Ambulance off to A&E when my ICD kicked off.
Needless to say this year I didn't tempt fate and stayed around the start/finish area. !
