Tail walk at Juniors and Gig Rowing
Started the day with a tail walk at Juniors. I was paired with a delightful DofE volunteer. His first time at it. I advised him to remember what it was like when he was only 4 - what might motivate the children? He was brilliant, suggested that the small boy 'run like a velocoraptor', then explained that they were one of the fastest dinosaurs. Sure enough, the little lad sped off. Mum and Grandma were delighted.
Later, launched Victory for a row round Northey, with race training row on return. Such fun to really row hard.
A beautiful day. Summer is here at last.
