Sgùrr nan Eag & Sgùrr Dubh Mòr
Bit behind with blipping - we've just had 2 days of true heaven-on-earth walking/climbing ... the Cuillin Ridge is pretty hard to match in the UK :-))
Today (Monday), we completed 2 of the Munros on the ridge: Sgùrr nan Eag & Sgùrr Dubh Mòr - the weather just could not have been better; the main snap shows my walking-partner for the day 'M', reaching the top of the second Munro, Sgùrr Dubh Mòr ... you should be able to make him out; and just look at those views!
1st extra was taken just as we left our base, Tarskavaig, looking back towards the ridge - which, most unusually, stayed completely clear for the whole day's expedition! 2nd extra shows 'M' on the approach up to Coire Ghrunnda (which sits at the base of the ridge) - you should just be able to make him out at the bottom of the cliffs; 3rd extra is looking back up to the Cullin Ridge as we walked out, in the fading evening sunlight, towards Glen Brittle.
A truly wonderful day.
