Improving

After work a walk along the railway line to Wimbledon. It's lovely along this route in the summertime, but it's getting quite overgrown. The berries are starting to fruit, which will be a feast for the birds and anybody who comes with a collection bowl in a couple of weeks.

We arrived at the pub and started reviewing the menu. Jo and Mark arrived shortly afterwards, as they also decided to settle in with some food first. Again, PY and I had the fish and chips. Not great for the diet. Not everybody was drinking, so we postponed using the ninth-place voucher we won last month until we could all celebrate together. I drank a couple of shandies and decided that was enough.

We did well again this week. We scored 10/10 in the first two rounds and, thanks to PY and Mark, in the final music round. In the wipeout round, which scores teams zero points if any answer in the round is wrong, we did not know any of the answers, so we gambled on four, and it transpired that two of them were right.
