Parking For Geese?

Today was a better day in lots of ways than yesterday.  We took both our Darwen grandchildren to Fairhaven Lake near St Annes, and the weather was fine until the last 30 minutes, so we had a good time. Play area, lunch, beach, ice cream, play area.

Around Fairhaven Lake are many geese, and my main shot is of some of them eating the grass. It must save on grass cutting, but the downside is the end product of eating grass. All the paths and lawn areas are like a grass poo slalom!

My extra is of the sea defences along the Ribble estuary. These steps lead down to the sand, and the water when the tide is in.

And as it is our wedding anniversary I am just about to collect the takeaway followed by a film. A nice end to a nice day.
