Change

Another night of not the best sleep….thats a few in a row now. At least it was bright and sunny first thing and I did a couple of emails then went to meet CW at the outside cafe by the national gallery. We sat in the sun talking over fundraising strategies and festival plans..
I walked home and made a wrap for lunch then did some reading and relaxed for a while (I’m always at a bit of a loose end in between busy weeks or being away).
More hassles getting last few details for the financial assessment form for P’s care costs and had to run up to the bank to get them to help retrieve old statements…grr!
Walked over to Quartermile for drinks and nibbles with R&DB in their great penthouse flat. We sat outside for a wee while but the earlier sun had disappeared and it even started to rain at one point so we retreated inside and talked design, fires, Brian Eno, theatres, architecture, maps, festivals and London vs Edinburgh.
Lovely couple of hours of chat then when the rain stopped and I came home to catch the final of Sewing Bee.
