Architecture reflecting the surrounding building,

A good day, everything went to plan.  The car was dropped off at Linwood for a service and a lift offered by Arnold Clarke to Paisley station to take a train into Glasgow centre.  We walked down towards the river Clyde to checkout the hairdresser I had booked later in the day and back to the Gallery of Modern Art in the centre. The upper levels hadn’t changed much since the last visit, on the ground floor we watched a film about the poor conditions for people working on farmland and fishing during the Marcos era. Not good for the workers.

Later we met fellow blipper ElspethAnne in a tapas bar, it was lovely to meet her again, to chat and eat, I think between us we chose the dishes well.  Time passed too quickly and Elspeth had to head back to the west-end to find her car.  John and I meandered over to Buchanan Street, it was lively with bag pipes playing and further on pan pipes, a good atmosphere.  The rain just about held off.  Time for the hairdresser, great fun with a lively young woman - who explained kick boxing to me, oh yes - she did a good job on cutting the hair, I think, time will tell.  I do enjoy visiting hairdressers when on holiday.

The car was ready and a train to Paisley and taxi to Linwood. The car was washed and vacuumed as well as the service.  And back to pusscat and an evening here with him.  He is adorable.
