Apples and Oranges

And I'm back to junk journaling blips... at least for today.

I managed to load the washing machine today, and the dish washer, and also go do some much needed shopping in the afternoon. Tired after every chore, but at least I got some energy!
When I stood at the cashier, to pay for my shopping. I realised I haven't spoken since last Thursday when I talked to my boss, or rather tried to... Felt like I was trying to talk with my mouth full of cotton balls. And, even if the pain is gone, my voice is muffled still and the cashiers had a difficult time to hear me. I'm staying home tomorrow too, but looking forward to work on Friday. :)

The page for todays' prompt 'ephemeral' is filled with ephemera from the past. When I was clearing out boxes in a closet, I found all these bits and pieces, except the small playing card which I found in a library book. An old telephone card for my first cell phone (a Nokia), a boarding card for a trip, part of an envelope from the student 'community/house' I belonged to, two unused stamps from Finland, an appointment card for something, a piece I turned in to a tab, and an old photo from way back. It was fun to put everything together, and fun to have found a 'home' for things I would've thrown away before I started with junk journaling.
