Wool Away 2024....

The lorry in to collect this year's wool clip at 7.30am. Had him loaded by 8.15 as only 42 sheets this year. In the past it's usually about 65 sheets,but after selling 600 ewes last year the flock is now only about 2300.
Once he was away,left Kev on mucking out and bedding sheds ready to , hopefully ,wean some cows and calves tomorrow.
A morning of meetings,then a trip to the Royal Infirmary this afternoon for a scan . The suspected gall stones weren't showing up so it's back to square one...
Back home and moved the bale wrapper next door ready to hopefully wrap some silage tomorrow , then got the baler tractor filled up with diesel.
A quick clean of the filter on the kero tank,as after today's fuel delivery all the sludge in the bottom of the tank had choked things up and the Aga was on the verge of going out. Hopefully avoided the wrath of Mrs F .......
