An Ex... STEAM... ly...Grand Day Out!

What a day.....
The last day of my holiday and a day at The Great Central Railway with my parents and PaulaK!

What a fabulous last day to end the perfect week! Riding from station to station having breakfast on the train....getting on the footplate....feeling like your going back in time and 30 degrees to boot!

Paula and I both took nearly 600 photos of Locomotives ...parts of Locomotives ...In the sheds....wheels....Fire boxes....bits of rust .....You name it we snapped it!

This is an ARTY shot of Paula and I on the platform taken in my sunglasses with the Steam Engine beside us in the reflection! Cool hey? ;-)

We got chatting to one of the drivers who is looking to upgrade his Nikon and took a fancy to ours! ...Nikon...what can I say...A class act...just like Steam Engines.

Thank you Paula for being on my last adventure of my week off.

Back to reality with a bump tomorrow night ;-( Nowt else to be said on those particular lines.
