The new growing area.

Our local area is rich in wild plants. In recent years various authorities, societies and individuals have been working to keep this richness.
As part of this effort they have been buying wild flower seeds and plug plants.
This can give rise to problems however as these imports can come from places which have different soils and climates and they often do not do very well.
To try to overcome this the National Landscape Office in Arnside has set upa growing area outside its office building.
My Blip shows one small part of it. There are sections for trees and hedgerow plants too.
