Ladies Pond

Such a highlight to swim in the Ladies Pond in Hampstead this afternoon after a hot sticky day doing manual jobs. Washed all bedding and, after 4 wash loads and with the help of amazing drying weather, remade beds ready for new visitors. Some fitted sheets are so fitted, it’s like wrestling with a mattress.

Met up with Anna and Chris for a quick’ish birthday brunch - Anna’s choice. Nice catch up.

I drove Dot.T to the Pond - it was her first time - and drove EmCoops and her lovely girl home again after. Met another friend there. The particular joy of this pond is that it’s deep enough to allow diving. Big joy.
