Lazy Day

It may be Thursday but it feels like a weekend. Maybe it’s the drizzle or overcast skies; traffic is light, hardly a walker, even the birds are quiet. Weird • The TV’s been on for most of the day to catch various bits of preliminary matches happening at the Olympics: women’s soccer, women’s handball, men’s rugby. Looking forward to the opening ceremony, and lots of basketball! • I found this harvester butterfly resting in a sugar maple tree along the edge of the property. It’s common to eastern north america, and is the only carnivorous butterfly in the US • Hope all is going well where you are! • Peace & Love
