We got back home in the early afternoon. Plenty of time to leisurely unpack. I went for a run. I shied from running when we were away because it was so damn hilly. Holidays disrupt normal routine. This is largely a good thing but many of the routines of home and work are good too. I was going to post a photo of my green tea - I didn't have any when we were away. Fiona got cherry bakewells. We are five and they were six. This one was left over. As I was photographing it the glowing light from inside the cherry seemed to be imploring me to eat it. How could I have done other than comply?
