Reframing Reality

‘He has a white feather in his wing..,’ said Simon of Hackburn, somewhat scandalised by his ready surrender.

A white feather symbolises a cowardly surrender. Should I give in, or carry on. Each must answer for himself I suppose. I don't know the answer.

Are all surrenders cowardly? Giving up in the face of insurmountable odds. Or is it acceptance, reframing reality.
