It's Abstract THursday!

This week's theme, set by our regular host Ingeborg, is 'As abstract as can be', a theme which suits me well.  I've always subscribed to the idea that to be a true art abstract it shouldn't try to depict an accurate image of reality but just use colours and shapes to represent the idea or subject.
 I confess that I haven't always achieved this myself, some of my attempts being more surreal than abstract!
My effort today began as a shot of raindrops on Mr MC's beloved Honda S2000.  After changing the colour and saturating the image I hope it looks less like that rather wet sports car!  In Extras an alternative given the 'motion blur' treatment.
