There Was A Time….

… When this would have felt a humdrum photo. Today (a sunny warm July day) this was the only butterfly in our extremely ‘butterfly-friendly’ garden. I stalked it (gently) for quite a while to achieve this capture.
What on Earth have we humans done?

In other news (because dwelling doesn’t help) I had a dental appointment.
Also humdrum. But, I was told I had the best hygiene rating of the day… ‘Gold star’.
I was (some might say ridiculously) chuffed. (But hey! You’re never too old for a gold star!).
And then I realised it was still only 9.30 anyway!

Never mind, I’ll still take it.
And I shan’t feel guilty about sullying the cleanliness with a few drops of red wine shortly. (The wine forecast is most favourable).
