yesterday's shot is one of my favorites i have taken in a while, sorry to have to backblip it, but take a look if you like. it's on the steps of the lincoln memorial and the lady's expression is worth it in large.

at the national portrait gallery today with emily and felipe after lunch at commissary. lots of crazy good portraits, lots of wanderings, etc.

just had an amazing dinner cooked by keith of scallops and pasta and about to settle in for another rainy evening. we are on titan arum watch at the US botanical garden - hoping to catch it if it blooms tomorrow or monday, nothing like rotting flesh smell, right?
