Friday night fever

The village social club organised a 1980s-themed disco this evening. I feel that the 80s aren't exactly iconic in terms of fashion, and the interpretations were many and varied, ranging from 60s hippies and 70s flower prints through rainbow tutus and lots of sequins. Similarly, the music was not that different from the usual fare, which relies heavily on music from boomers' youth in any case.

There was a meal first of course (extra). It was well attended and everyone had fun, though we party poopers crept back home before midnight. Surprisingly we easily fell asleep, given that this was all happening outside our front door.
