Hibiscus: Macro Practice
After removing all the spent blooms, my Hibiscus plant has a new lease of life. A new flower opened this morning and I counted fourteen little buds that will open! I think that the size of the flowers is almost bigger than the first ones. This one measures 20cm across!
You can see a touch of Edelweiss on the lower right, bright pink Geranium, a glimpse of yellow Coreopsis in the back and orange Gaillardia behind the big yellow petals. These are all out of focus, but add a variety of cheerful colours.
It's very, very, very hot and I slept badly last night because of the stuffy heat.
