Athletic Hall of Fame

The 2024 Summer Olympics (Jeux olympiques d'été de 2024), officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad (Jeux de la XXXIIIe Olympiad) kicked off formally today in Paris, after yesterday’s opening ceremony.

In honour of this event, I thought I would share with you another of my great athletic achievements.

I was a mere 10 and bit years at this school meeting.

“Athletic Handicap Meeting” on the certificate refers to the fact that weaker competitors got a head start in a race, say a yard or two. I have no recollection of any advantage given in my prestigious event.
