Day 30 Lourenzá to Abadín

It rained today, all day, for the first time in over 3 weeks. This meant that there was little point in taking the mountain route from Mondoñedo to Abadín which I had been looking forward to as the last of the challenging walks. The alternative route was just as hilly but nearly all on tarmac and potentially not very interesting. I was wrong and had a highly enjoyable trek mostly up quiet roads meeting no one save this chap and his dog, and several goats. I couldn’t work out if they were just out for a morning cycle or doing the Camino. I met them several times and eventually overtook them.
