Life in Sunny Dubai

Hopeful

I had another early start (considering it's the weekend) after a late night. I watched the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony until the end. Parts of it were incredible and original; other parts were strange, for want of a better word.

I put my amp in a trolley with the battery for the Kindle, which Diane handed over yesterday, and the Flip 3 and drove to the workshop. The technician wired up the amp right away, and it worked perfectly!!! He suggested I bring the speakers and wiring cable when I come to collect the Kindle and speaker, but I wanted to finish this as quickly as possible. It's taken ages already. So I drove back home and returned 45 minutes later with the speakers and a kit to replace the Kindle's battery.

The amp worked perfectly again when I wired the speakers up. Argh. The technician will check all the inputs until I return to collect the items. He fixed the Flip 3 and I brought it home. And that's where I've been for the rest of the day, getting various things sorted. My blip was taken in the morning. It doesn't feel like the right neighbourhood to have a Friends cafe. I hope it does well.
