seeking nectar among the fuzz

As the early bird gets the worm, I guess the early bee gets the freshest nectar. I was surprised to see this fuzzy bumble bee foraging near the top of the fuzzy stalk where the flowers were not quite open. But on closer inspection, there are one or two newly opened blooms.
