Floating in Loch Faskally

A long(ish) drive down to Pitlochry for book group at Winsford's, with just two members missing (one on holiday in Scotland, one away in Ireland). Three of the six of us went swimming after lunch (me (obvs), Winsford and hazelh). Loch Faskally is a lovely venue for swimming and was being used for a variety of water sports this afternoon.

Home again in time to turn round and go out again with Mr A to Meikle Ferry, meeting local friends N, A (and A's dad), H, D (who organised - it was their anniversary), and G and S. It was great as they have a private hire vehicle, so we got taken out there and brought back (and the private hire driver was off to Embo / Dornoch for the evening to ferry people back from a wedding for a few hours). Lots of laughter and good fun and decent food.

Home through the gloaming. I never tire of the view of the Dornoch Firth.
