Sea glass
An active day. And some decent work shifted as well.
I did a peloton workout this morning - the fourth one this week. It's starting to come together slowly again after the setback of being ill. I'm still coughing a bit, but not much overnight. I had the best sleep I've had in ages last night.
Later, Mr A and I pottered down to the supermarket, and later still I went to Shandwick, and swam with L, A and M (aka the Kessock swimmers). We managed approximately 800-850 metres, so about two thirds of a Kessock swim. Quite good, considering how cold it was. I wasn't cold when I first got out (unlike the others), but I did experience a bit of an after drop later, although I wrapped myself up warmly after my shower, and had something to eat.
Meanwhile, the workers have almost made it down to the gate. Next week, they will need to fill in all the gaps.
The sea glass was collected by P's friend T. She has a massive collection already, so was keen that I should take it home. I have deposited it in my brass bowl containing various cacti and succulents. Actually, it's rather more succulents than cacti, as only two of the cacti I originally put in have survived.
After all that exercise, I suspect I shall sleep well tonight.
