Evening Stroll
A common choice this summer, the walk from Bailey Bridge alongside the Dysynni estuary. Overcast when I set off tonight, after a bright, sunny day but as the cloud drifted NE a band of brightness out to sea grew, the setting sun eventually putting in an appearance. Gentle, warm light on a fresh feeling evening.
I had woken with a sore throat and a headache, the latter has persisted all day despite regular painkillers. Maybe I have overdone it this week. Hopefully the feeling of slight malaise will soon pass. I still managed a load of laundry and spent a fair bit of time at pottery. This morning I was supervising Jane and Jack glazing some pieces they had made on their last visit. I also turned and trimmed yesterday's wheel thrown pieces which are now drying before bisque firing.
I also had an afternoon snooze and now an early night beckons.
