Pizza making

Ended up in Edinburgh this evening having called in to help mark Susan’s nephew’s 40th birthday today in Glasgow. Home made pizzas were on the menu, my creation was slightly charred around the edges which I quite like. It was a very enjoyable event with the Scottish family.

A pleasant enough drive from Keswick this morning except when peppered by some various vigorous showers on the first part of the journey.

Thank you for your continued comments and visits to my journal while we are away they are very much appreciated. Wasn’t yesterday’s location splendid, what a view. In 5 days we covered over 35 miles, 15 fell tops and countless feet of ascent.

I had a very fine present from Barbara and David in the firm of a couple of engraved whisky glasses and a glass jug set on a wooden stand. Christened it this evening.
