St Stephens
Up bright and early on grandparent duties. Lots of energy after a good night’s sleep, on grandson’s part.
Before noon, away on the bus into town for lunch at the invitation of a friend who last week celebrated her 80th birthday.
A lovely lengthy relaxed lunch was had by all. Apart from a picture of a finished dessert plate, this view of St Stephens - now an art centre - was all I have for a photo (apart from pictures of our grandson of course).
St Stephens is at the south end of the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. It is a lovely centre with lots of shops, pubs, cafes and eating places as well as a history in the life of Edinburgh. I’ve posted about the area previously: for example 24 September 2022.
Back home and grandparent duties took over. Fingers crossed for another good night.
