Spiderlings on Sedum
Droplets from overnight rain glisten on the Nursery Web this Spider has woven for her Spiderlings around the flowerheads of some Sedum - or, as it should now rather be called, Hylotelephium - in our back garden.
Today's 'Extra', taken later in the day, shows the reassuring sight of a Comma Butterfly (Polygonia c-album) basking in the afternoon sun on some Blackberry leaves - a welcome sight after what has been, so far, a worrying year for Butterflies (and insects in general) around here.
