Favourite feelings

Starting a new notebook has to be among the top feelings. This one won’t be overwhelmed with endlessly optimistic lists of things to get done today. This one will contain observations, witty apercus, drawings, paintings even. Who knows?
All ready for M’s sister’s wedding now. Nails all pink, hair short, eyebrows resuscitated, dress a bit tight, new sandals (how long till they hurt?).
Good day. C and I won both sets of tennis, much to everyone’s amazement. There was cake which had turned out well. Then nails, home, bath, watched endless bouts of young people swimming quickly, and bed. Dreamed of rats.
