A and K laughed and cried through the speeches. A gorgeous wedding day, full of love, laughter and a lot of champagne. The weather was perfect, bride and groom anxious then happy. Two Routemaster buses took us from wedding to reception; Islington very amused by two busloads of wedding guests suddenly marching through their Sunday. Fantastic food, lovely funny (and short) speeches. Best bits for me really were the conversations, people tell you so much after a couple of drinks and in between dancing and there's an intensity that seems to come out at weddings.. There were two or three people I really felt much closer to by the time we left and I really do value that.
