Opera at the Finish

I'm a day behind as we travelled the long journey home yesterday and it was too late to think about blips.

It was Day 6 of Croeso24, this day at Merthyr Common again high up on the moor above the village of Trefil and with lots of disused quarrying evidence around the edges of the area.  It has been a most enjoyable week with generally good weather, excellent technical courses and good socialising with friends from different clubs.  Our cottage was peaceful and comfortable, with a very deep bath and lots of hot water, yes!

I didn't take many blips of orienteers because I had to head off to my start but it had to be this competitor who was so happy to finish that she sang opera all the way down the run in to much amusement and applause.

Now we are on post holiday washing, shopping and clearing away.
