A mate for Molly

Back to Tesco’s to get a security tag removed from an item of clothing that we bought yesterday. It beeped on the way out but we were just waved on and didn’t find it until we unpacked. 

Today there was a Help for Heroes stand in the entrance, with items available for a donation. I chose this crocheted item which is covering a chocolate orange. He is protecting Molly the cat from Germany, which I recently made.

It wasn’t until we were driving home that it struck my that this would be a good charity to donate my extra crocheted and knitted items to. They would look appropriate in amongst the items that the chap had on the stand.

We’d had a super chat to the volunteer. Within seconds he and B were sharing where they had been based, what aircraft they had worked on, how we had come to settle here!!! Happy memories.

The evening was spent watching the Olympics!!!!!!
