Hardheads

Enjoying my current "world" spanning 200m, given my current restrictions; the sun helps a lot of course. 

Another short stroll to sit in Collies today relax and enjoy it's understated beauty.  

Today the sun's spotlight highlighted this particular Lesser knapweed, amongst the others nearby. Everyone has their special moment!

It's also known as Hardheads, Common knapweed, Black knapweed and Spanish buttons. A major pollinator, it also provides food for the European Goldfinch, Honey bee and various butterflies and moths.
