Hello?

Big day out with the family - off to Longleat Safari Park for play and animals.
Perfect day for it - not too warm, and not too busy. Whilst the kids were the focus, we all enjoyed ourselves. Started with the boat trip and feeding the sea lions, then a wander round the park with koalas being a highlight (so cute), and in to the dinosaur cave (not real), play parks and picnic lunch. Then the drive round safari - hence the close encounter with an ostrich.
Whilst it is amazing to see all the animals there is still that reminder that they are captive, out of their natural environment. Of course they are playing their part in research and conservation. It’s a hard balance.
