It was a nice trip today. Where we often cycled on a dike yesterday, we now drove at some distance next to the Rhine. We came through villages with still beautiful houses. Our choice to cycle to the right of the Rhine did not necessarily bring us the entire route from Switzerland. The border is quite erratic.

The first highlight was Stein am Rhein. This town has a market square surrounded by old houses. One facade is more beautifully decorated than the other. I made a film of it, but in the extra a photo. On the Internet you can probably find good material to possibly take a look yourself.

Just after Schaffhausen we descended to the Rheinfall, where the Rhine drops 23 metres over a width of 150 metres. There were a lot of tourists. Logically, it is worth visiting. And to cycle all the way down and then back up again.

At the end of the ride we pitched our tent on a small quiet campsite with a beautiful swimming pool. Summer is still in full swing, so the swimming pool was a welcome extra.
