Ally and Honey
I was in Newcastle this morning for a review appointment with my very lovely psychiatrist. I seem to be doing well and we chatted about the different ways that grief affects us.
Then to Julie's. Her friend Ally was there, with Honey, her dog. Ally used to be a puppy walker for Guide Dogs for the Blind and is a very experienced dog trainer. She preferred to have golden retrievers above all other breeds, but Honey was offered to her to rescue when she had stopped doing the puppy walking.
As you can see, Honey knows that she is not allowed on the furniture! She posed very well for me.
Ally had brought a delicious lunch, quite a lot of which she had grown.
Then I went to Morrisons for a food shop and home again.
I am shattered after the weekend away.
My friend, the other Marjorie, has had a small heart attack and is in the RVI A&E. She tells me she will come home on her own later, by taxi, because it's too far to walk to the bus station. Some of my friends really have a very tenuous grasp on reality!! I think she should be admitted. She is breathless.
