LOCAL ROBIN
I was shooting at the track (Road America) and I saw this American Robin (Turdus migratorius) emerge from under the Johnsonville Bridge. Apparently nesting under there it left the safety of the bridge to look for something to eat, I suspect....either for itself or for some hungry chicks.

It's nice under the bridge...out of the rain and away from predators. But I know how noisy it can get with race cars running under it. Apparently, it's a worthwhile tradeoff for the safety the bridge canopy represents.

BEST IN LARGE.
