The Feast Day of Saint Peter Chrysologus. A Bishop
The morning is 22.2c indoors. There is a pleasant breeze keeping it cool. It is 32c in Surrey where my Aunt and Uncle live.
Holly is home but Hunter is not so far.
I might write some more later.
I am going to follow Holy Mass from Ireland.
Prayers for the people suffering after the terrible incident in Southport.
Here I am again, to add a little bit more at 2:30pm.
The neighbouring children are playing happily outside and the afternoon is cloudy but dry and 23.8c indoors. Hunter emerged from the living room, probably from behind the sofa because the Tesco food delivery came to our front door and he is apprehensive about people he doesn't know. He is confident and happy most of the time.
I completed reading my Kindle book, Journey to Love by Mieke Vulink. It was fascinating and amazing all rolled into one. I hope she writes some more books.
Paul went to buy me some more muesli and a few bags of seed and mealworms for the garden birds.
He also bought an inexpensive sprinkler to attach to the garden hose to hydrate the lawn, which he mowed this morning The lawn looks neat and well cared for now. The front lawn will be mowed tomorrow.
It is nearly time for Escape to the Country at 3pm.
Enjoy the good sunny warm weather.
Thank you for visiting my site and take care blip friends.
It was much cooler by evening but Paul hosed the garden and the cats watched, fascinated.
I chocolate coated our week's supply of Scottish Shortbread.
Maria phoned. She is visiting on Saturday.
