Beauty is all around us.

Hunter with this week's copy of The Friend.

The Feast Day of Saint Martha of Bethany. Patron Saint of housewives and those suffering leprosy.
Some saint books include Martha, Mary and Lazarus.

It is a challenging day for us who find hot weather draining. The sunlight is so lovely though. It is 22.4c indoors. I tend to seek somewhere not in the heat. I am quite pale, even though I have Mediterranean ancestry and some Indian ancestry. I have not travelled outside the British Isles nor wish to. I am nonetheless interested in learning about other lands and how people live. All in all, I love sunshine and blue skies but wait for the lovely cool of the evening to enjoy the wonderful mildness. The cats stayed out all night and were in the garden at 8:15am to receive their welcome, food and a place indoors where they might rest and sleep peacefully. Hunter decided to sit on the turquoise towel on the sofa and provided a photo for me. I thanked him. He is such a dear tom cat, but he likes his own space to be calm and happy.

I went out for the Daily Mail. Happy to read Andy Murray won.

I fed the garden birds.

There is plenty of indoor housework to be getting on with after breakfast.

Take care, stay safe and enjoy a good Monday, blip friends.
