USN Mercy Hospital Ship

The Navy has two big hospital ships, the Mercy and the Comfort. They are former oil tankers refitted as hospitals. The Mercy has been in our Swan Island ship repair yard for about six months. This morning, as we were looking for our fair, if not greedy, share of sweet, ripe blackberries along our riverside walk, we came upon this maneuver to turn the ship around so it could sail under the railroad bridge and then the St Johns Bridge, onto the Columbia River, and out to the Pacific.
I read on Wikipedia that in March, 2020, while the ship was in San Diego, a train engineer tried to ram a train into the ship believing "it had an alternate purpose related to COVID-19 or a government takeover. No one was injured and the ship was not harmed, but the engineer was charged with train wrecking and terrorism. He later cited Qanon and COVID-19 conspiracy theories as the reasons for his attack."
We've been under attack by such conspiracy theories for long enough, haven't we?!
