For the family

The end of the road

U3A crafts this afternoon was interesting, not that it’s ever boring, but there were some absentees due to holiday and a bit of shifting around in the seating arrangements. 4 of us got talking about gardens in new properties in the pink clay hot spot of Staffordshire.

It was such a hot day and Amber wasn’t walked until after 9pm. I left B watering the garden and wandered round the block. I could see that the final house in our row was occupied at last and I could see where the road will open up soon.

As I walked back down the road I had the opportunity to speak to a new neighbour who was at an open window with her two dogs, a beautiful Husky and a sweetheart of a 16week old Weimaraner. Amber sat viewing them with suspicion. It’s nice to say hello and get to know people who are new to the area.
