Lady's bedstraw
Another new species that's appeared in Collies this year.
Apparently it's smell acts as a flea repellent and in medieval times was used for bedding. It can also be used to cause sweating (for some reason), as a drying agent, and as an aphrodisiac and laxative - not an ideal combination perhaps!
aka Yellow bedstraw, Cheese rennet ; it's flowers can produce milk which as been used for cheese making!

Back blip above - had my suture taken out today and needed a rest day after my recent increase in activity.
Really enjoyed my Language of Pain research group web session too - always relaxing, fun and we bounce off each others ideas at this planning stage of our next piece of work.
