The Farmhouse
This morning, we set off from my Mother's house, to resume our walking of the London Loop. It was forecast to be a really hot day so we started before 8am. Fortunately, a lot of the route took us through shady woodland of Oxhey Wood, Harrow Weald Common, Grimsdyke open space and Bentley Priory open space , where we caught the first of two buses to take us back to the start. We had walked about 6 or 7 miles by then, and it was now noon, and hot. My blip is of the Victorian Pinnerwood farmhouse we passed early on our walk.
This afternoon, we caught up with my Mother's old neighbours, and this evening we visited my Auntie's great friend A, who we saw briefly yesterday. Tonight her son and his daughter were also visiting her (along with their enormous Bernese Mountain dog!). Very good to hear all their news.
