21 today

My darling daughter's 21st birthday today. Impossible to believe she is now all grown up, and has finished university. I thought it was appropriate to give her a quality plastic flashing tiara, which go nicely(ahem) with the pearls from my Dad. Obviously in a gite surrounded by vineyards, it was necessary to toast the occasion appropriately and to go out for dinner.

In job interviews, and the like, you get asked, what is your greatest achievement, or what are you most of. I trot out the standard stuff about brand relaunches or setting up a new function at work. The reality, is , quite simply, that everything that in a the crazy world is considered an achievement or a job, is absolutely nothing to compare with the children. They are everything to me, and I am so proud of them both.
